As soon as I got into my 20′s, dance became an enormous part of my life. Movment. Freedom. Energy. Sensuality. I am forever amazed by how much can be expressed with body language. Body language conveys nearly everything you need to know about a person. The slightest tilt of the body or placement of a foot changes how you will perceive someone to  be a a person. Through dance we learn to express the full range of our emotions. With a background in gymnastics and acrobatics, I’ve always been in touch with my body but dance has added an additional layer of power and control and freedom. No other style of dance coveys emotion and intensity to me and gets me moving than the way hip-hop, R&B and electronic music can. I am an urban and hip-hop dancer and can adapt to almost any style as I have spent years refining my skill and ability.  Below you’ll find a resume of my training and more.

When I began creating this page, I intended to write a short bio. What came out was my life story about dance. I think it’s worth reading.  If you like what you read, you can book classes and training sessions with me personally as well as fully explore the world of dance and movement in your own body.

From around 2000-2008 I helped pioneer the idea that a “Gym Class” could be so much more than a redundant and repetitive step aerobics class. I wanted to teach a real dance class- something you’d look forward too each week, with choreography and mini routines.  Over the years I taught at Gold’s Gym, 24 Hour Fitness, AmGym at AmGen, Angel City Fitness and also internationally in Italy. Each week I would bring a new dance routine to an excited class of students and we’d work on fresh choreography twice a week. The first class laid down fundamentals and the second class would build on what we learned in the first. Classes included a warm up, step by step demonstrations of the choreography and then performance at the end of class. Often the performance would occur in groups so students could watch each other and grow their practice further. This boosted confidence, was fantastically fun and also gave students and members a great work out! Kids and adults age 13 to 50 took class and everyone left feeling great.
